JODIE’S CAT CARE | TERMS & CONDITIONS
Terms and conditions between Jodie’s Cat Care and its Clients
General
1.1 Bookings are subject to agreement of these terms and conditions.
1.2 Jodie’s Cat Care will treat your personal information confidentially and will not pass on your details to any third party other than its pet sitters.
1.3 Information given in the initial registration form will be used for all subsequent bookings unless Jodie’s Cat Care is notified that there has been a change in your pet's condition or requirements.

Cats
2.1 Jodie’s Cat Care will visit clients’ cats in their home and will feed the cat with food as agreed with the cat’s owners. Visits shall be made once or twice per day in agreement with, and charged to, the Client.
2.2 The client shall provide all of the cat/s regular food, medication and supplements. If a litter tray is used, then adequate supply of litter and cleaning materials must be provided.
2.3 The client must give Jodie’s Cat Care a full explanation of the cat’s lifestyle and habits, tastes, likes, dislikes etc. And shall be responsible for advising Jodie’s Cat Care of the cat’s behaviour, temperament, medical history and current medical needs.
2.4 If your cat appears unwell and requires medical support, your pet will be taken to a veterinary surgeon. The client is responsible for all fees incurred during their absence or during the course of a booking. The client must arrange with their Vet so they can contact Jodie’s Cat Care and discuss the treatment/illness of your cat over the phone, and you will settle the bill by credit card, this is the client’s responsibility and not payable by Jodie’s Cat Care.
2.5 Under no circumstances shall Jodie’s Cat Care be liable in any way whatsoever for the deterioration of any existing/diagnosed condition of any cat/s in its care. All expenses/veterinary costs (including costs of prescription drugs or any other medication) are solely the responsibility of the owner.
2.6 Jodie’s Cat Care shall not be liable for the loss or death of any cat under its care caused by any action other than the direct action of Jodie’s Cat Care personnel.
2.7 Jodie’s Cat Care shall use its best endeavours to care for the client’s cat in the most effective manner possible but shall not be liable to the client in respect of any loss caused by latent defect in food or other material provided for the cat’s welfare.

Keys
3.1 The cat owners shall provide Jodie’s Cat Care with one full spare set of keys to the client’s property together with instructions on the operation of any burglar alarm or other security system/s. The client should ensure that all doors/windows that need to be opened are in good repair and that locks are in good working order. Jodie’s Cat Care will not be liable for any breach of the client’s home security due to poorly maintained or ill-fitting locks and doors.
3.2 Jodie’s Cat Care will return the client's keys through their letterbox when the client has confirmed they have arrived home and any outstanding charges have been settled.

Prices
4.1 Our charges are set out on our website and will be sent out to the client in full at the time of booking. You will be deemed to have accepted the charges of Jodie’s Cat Care upon confirmation of your booking.
4.2 The client shall be liable for payment of Jodie’s Cat Care fees for welfare visits and also the cost of food, vets’ bills or any other accounts incurred on the cats’ business.
4.3 All accounts and charges are payable 48 hours before the start of a booking. Payment details will be provided at the registration visit.
4.4 Jodie’s Cat Care reserve the right to charge interest on all unpaid invoices calculated at base rate plus 8% per month from the date of the first visit. (Late Payment act 1998).
4.5 Jodie’s Cat Care shall make all reasonable endeavours to locate adequate parking facilities close to the client’s property. The client should leave parking permits or appropriate amount of cash for parking. In the event of incurring any excessive parking penalties necessitated by the need to make a welfare visit, the client shall accept liability for the same.

Bookings & Cancellations
5.1 The client agrees to Jodie’s Cat Care 48 hours’ notice minimum of each booking and 48 hours’ notice for a cancellation.

Insurance
6.1 The clients will be responsible for ensuring adequate buildings, contents and property owners liability insurance for any property which Sitting Kitty Ltd shall be required to visit. Such insurance shall cover the risk of damage caused by the cats whilst left unaccompanied in the property.

Other
7.1 Jodie’s Cat Care will leave your property as they found it.
7.2 Jodie’s Cat Care personnel will make all reasonable efforts to make their visits at regular intervals. The exact timing of visits will be at the discretion of Jodie’s Cat Care.
7.3 Jodie’s Cat Care will not be held responsible if your cat goes out of the house, for injuries or loss of your cat, we advise that your cat stays in whilst you are away, but if you have a ‘Cat Flap’ and your cat is used to using this we do understand, but we are not liable when your cat is outside of the house.
7.4 In the event of a problem or emergency arising Jodie’s Cat Care will contact the client.
